Be Open to Learning Every Moment

Be open to learning every moment. Tom’s University is about basic principles, basic life principles for healthy human beings. And this is a basic life principle that applies in every moment. Be open to learning in this moment.  Every moment is new.   You didn’t know this moment ahead of time, so if you’re really in the present in this moment, you’ll be “open to learning.”  Being “open to learning” in the present moment is the same as “being conscious and aware in the present moment.”  Living in the present and “being open to learning every moment” are synonymous.

If you have the consciousness that this moment is already figured out, all tied up in a bow,  . . . . .  That’s not reality. You’re going to get hit in the face or hit over the head or crash into a brick wall. or have a very small, fixed, rigid life. No. Life is fluid. And you don’t know .  .  .  .  you really don’t know the next moment.  So “be open to learning every moment.”
