Balance your energy now. Balance your energy now. If you’re not in charge of the energy in your body, who is? If you’re not in charge of the energy in your body, are you passive? Is someone else in control, in charge of the energy in your body? Not a good strategy. No one else can be in charge of the energy in your body. Now, outside forces affect the energy in your body. The quality of the air affects the energy in your body. The time of day affects the energy in your body. The food you eat affects the energy in your body. Other people affect the energy in your body. It’s your job to stay in charge of your energy. It’s your job to balance your energy. Now. Now, every now, every now, balance your energy now. It’s your job to notice when your energy is unbalanced and what is needed. And what is needed for you to re-balance your energy. To function optimally, you need to be balanced. Your energy needs to be balanced. To function optimally, you need to be in charge of your energy. You’ve got… To function optimally, you need to be able to direct your energy, the energy in your body to do what you want yourself to do. [chuckle] The energy is you in any moment in time. Balance your energy now. If your energy is all unbalanced, all fragmented, all spacey, all no one’s in charge of it, you can’t function optimally. You won’t even know what’s most needed for you if you’re not aware of your energy. Balance your energy now.

Okay. Now, this is… This class… The purpose of this class is to inspire you, motivate you to coach yourself to go to your next level of optimal functionality, your next level of creating happiness for your life, success and happiness. So this is a principle. This is a skill to be in charge of your energy, to know, to balance your energy, to be in charge of balancing your energy. It’s a skill. And to balance your energy, you’ve got to be aware of your energy. So, the purpose of this class is to motivate you to improve your skill at being aware of your energy and to improve your skill at noticing when you’re not balanced and improve your skill at noticing in each different situation what you need to do in this moment to get to balance your energy. Do you need to eat? Do you need to not eat? Do you need to be alone or do you need to be not alone? Do you need to go exercise or do you need to rest? Do you need to more focus, more tight focus or do you need more relaxing and more looseness or more calmness? Do you need to be more aware of your breathing? Do you need to be go faster? Do you need to go slower? What do you need to balance yourself right now? That’s that skill.

You can’t answer that question ahead of time. You can know what your strengths are. You can have an idea of the areas of your life where you get unbalanced really easily but you can’t know what you’re gonna need to do to balance your energy in 10 minutes or an hour or tomorrow. You can figure it out right now though. Well, to the degree that your skilled at being aware of your energy, you can figure it out right now. You can… “Wow! Am I in charge of my energy now? Am I balanced now?” And if you’re not skilled at that, you can build your skill at learning whether you’re balanced or not. And if you have questions, study it, study it in yourself. Study it. Let me see if I can… It’s hard even for me to think that I can tell you what it will feel like in you to be balanced. I’m giving you some ideas, will you be calm? Or at least calmer? [chuckle] Well, you’ll definitely be in the present moment, that’s… That’s you’ll be in the present moment with yourself and what’s going on inside of yourself. If you’re not in the present moment with yourself you’re not balancing your energy, you’re not.

Well you also have a confidence too, right. You’ll be… A confidence in yourself in the present moment that you know where you’re at. That’s what I mean by confidence. You know where you’re at and you know what’s going on, and you know what you’re doing and what you want to be doing, and you’re not confused, you’re not confused. Or, see even that’s not exactly accurate. Or you’ll notice that you’re confused, and you’ll own that you’re confused, and maybe in the situation it makes sense that you’re confused, because it’s a confusing situation. But, you’ll be aware of yourself in the situation. Right, right, rather what do I mean? This is… I’m making it too… You could be confused in figuring out a problem in your life, and owning that you’re confused about the problem, “This is what’s going on right now, I’m confused about this situation, I’m confused about this problem, and this is the problem that’s most up for me to focus my attention on right now,” and you could be balanced within your confusion. I know that sounds a little bit crazy, but yeah.

If you’re owning the reality of what’s going on with you in the moment no matter what it is, and you’re present with yourself, and you’re aware of your energy, you could be balanced in that moment versus being confused and going into, “Oh no, there’s something wrong with me being confused. Oh no, oh no, there’s something wrong with this situation, oh no, oh no.” That’s not balanced. And just comparing those two, the balanced confusion versus the unbalanced confusion, with the balanced confusion, you’re going to be in a functional problem solving focus. A balanced problem solving focus. That’s the clasp, that’s what this skill is all about. Balance your energy now. And just to summarize, the skill is being aware of your energy first, building your skill at being aware of your energy first. And number two, exploring, learning what do you need… What is balance so that you know when you’re balancing your energy… When your energy is balanced and when your energy isn’t balanced.

And when you notice you’re not balanced, make it a priority, make it a priority to get back to balancing your energy, your life. Balance being in charge of your energy, being in charge of yourself, your life in the present moment, because that’s the only… That’s what you need to do to take charge of yourself, to take care of yourself, to be happy, to be optimally functional.
